Your body is a Temple, take care of it.
When I was younger, fitness felt like a chore, and a lot of times, I abused my body by pushing it too hard, working too long without adequate rest, and oftentimes letting laziness get the better of me.
As I got older though, I began to appreciate being mindful about fitness, not so much from a vanity standpoint, but really more from the point of self-care and mental health. Going to the gym was a way of taming my noisy and chaotic mind, a time for me to work on me, and push myself toward self-improvement.
After all, our body is the only meat-vehicle we will have in this lifetime. There’s a lot more adventures I want to go on, so I need to take care of it so that it can continue to function well.
I’ve taken a break from gym for awhile due to a serious bout of flu as well as school exams, but it’s time to build back better, baby.

Muay Thai is an activity I love, and although I truly miss my @eamtmuaythai family in Singapore, I think I’ve found a Muay Thai gym in Korea that will become my new home. This video is from my first training session, after a break of almost a whole year.
Moving to a new country takes a lot of time, resources, adaptation, and energy. But bit by bit, I am feeling more settled in and getting back to doing things that I love.
