Here’s the ugly truth: there are over 25 MILLION victims of human trafficking – and nearly a third are children. It is truly the darkest part of humanity — a subject that most people avoid even THINKING about.
As many of you know, our dear friend Tim Ballard founded Operation Underground Railroad with a mission to free children from the horrors of trafficking. This organization has gathered the world’s experts in extraction operations — their team consists of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops that work in partnership with local law enforcement throughout the world to not only free children, but arrest traffickers and provide critical aftercare to the survivors.
Together with @angelstudios_inc, we’re proud to share the upcoming release of SOUND OF FREEDOM which depicts the true story of @timballard89, a Federal Agent who quits his job with the Department of Homeland Security to start his own independent team of child rescuers. The Fourth Turning is here.
There’s no denying that we’re living in interesting times. With global conflict, political polarization, loss of trust in organizations, and the threat of war, it can certainly feel overwhelming. But amidst ANY challenge we might face, there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow.
I first interviewed the brilliant historian and demographer Neil Howe over 25 years ago after then-President of the United States Bill Clinton recommended that I read his book, Generations. Later that same day, I walked across to the other side of the aisle to work with Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich – something you could do back in those days! Gingrich also had a copy of Generations on his desk. Of course, I had to pick it up, which lead me to reading Neil’s book, The Fourth Turning which I highly recommend EVERYONE reads. Neil’s understanding of cyclical patterns in history tells us that what’s happening now is not chaos – it’s happened before, and it will happen again.
Neil has just released his new book, “The Fourth Turning Is Here: What the Seasons of History Tell Us about How and When This Crisis Will End.” His groundbreaking work examines the cycles of history, revealing that our current era aligns with the critical fourth turning — a period of immense upheaval and transformation.
