More new work with @annikapampel whilst using @westcottlighting #opticalspot This little pup is pretty sweet. The best aspect is being capable of focusing the light with the attached lens. The rain is #LA can’t stop me! A last minute change of location and some magic with @annikapampel was the theme of the day at this cool location hidden in #DTLA Tight space, very little room to move but all in all WOW. A great subject of course makes a huge difference, but what a fun location. For this scene in the “blue” room, I played off the very low natural light, which unfortunately was hitting Annika a bit low, so I put a @westcottlighting 7’ shoot thru all the way up against the low ceiling just to cast a bit more light on her face. The ceiling was blue as well- otherwise I’d likely have just bounce my #fj400 into it. No shoes allowed, fyi, I don’t normally shoot in just socks. 🤣🤣 #ianspanierphotography #bts #light #women #model #writer #actress #director #portrait #beauty

I never like to over retouch, instead I prefer to have an image in camera that’s close to final whenever possible.
