I’m looking at labor the way I look at a fight: “When you are in there, some things are completely out of your control, but what IS in your control is all of the preparation you do going into it.” In a fight, you can’t completely control what your opponent does or how they react, and in labor we can’t control what baby wants to do or when they want to come. What we can control are things like diet, sleep, recovery, and our training. I’ve already started my work with a pelvic floor therapist @raisethepelvicfloor , and I’m excited to start working with @brianna.battles to build my strength going into ‘battle’ lol, and work through my recovery process to get back! There’s not a lot of info out there on athletes coming back to sport, so I’m excited to work with an experienced trainer who specializes in this arena! 🤰🏻💪🏽👊🏽💥
