“Saree has always been my comfort zone; it’s my go-to attire. Ever since my childhood, I have been fascinated by sarees. I would often borrow my mom’s or my doddamma’s saree and practice draping it. From a very young age, I learned to drape sarees in different styles. As a classical dancer, getting ready and wearing a saree fills me with excitement and joy. Even today, I am the designated saree draper and makeup artist for my sister and my mom. It brings me immense pleasure to help them dress up and make them look their best.” ~ @chandana_ananthakrishna
