She’s impossibly gorgeous on the outside but somehow even more beautiful on the inside and Chris and I are the luckiest to call you ours. Thank you for loving us all the way you do and for being the best Memes to Adler and Keaton.
Also, this is our first Mother’s Day without Haroldine, the world’s GREATEST mother-in-law. She was supportive and encouraging, never showed up unannounced, and waited to be asked for advice before handing it out. She really worshiped @jensenkarp and yet somehow she always let me know that she thought I was good enough for him, even when she previously thought she’d never think that about anyone. 😂 The only thing she loved more than being his mother was watching him be a father and we miss her every day, but especially on milestone days like today. ❤️

A brand new episode of @podmeetsworldshow is up now, wherever you get your podcasts. In this episode we break down “the pilot” aka the very first episode of Boy Meets World. We meet Eric, Shawn, Cory, Mr. Feeny and the family… but not Topanga!! We also have a familiar argument about the backyard vs the sideyard. IYKYK. Plus, we introduce Rider’s 7 year old son Indy and his take of seeing his dad with that weird hair and “too much shirts!”
Recently had a girls night with two of my best friends and one of these women has a child entering the 6th grade this fall. That’s how old we were when we met!! 12 years old. 🤯 Now we own businesses, have built careers and are raising families of our own. So much has changed but one thing has remained exactly the same: we laughed so hard our tummies hurt and tears streamed down our faces. Thankful to have such lifelong friendships in my life. Big love to these two and all my other ladies who couldn’t make the trip but are no less special to me!
Happy Father’s day to our Papa Bear, @jensenkarp. No one else I’d rather eat at the same chain restaurants with over and over, begging our kids to eat more than jelly packets. ❤️
Our first guest! The pod was joined by William “Rusty” Russ (aka Alan Matthews) this week and he didn’t disappoint. Personally, my favorite part was learning Rusty asked Will to drive him up a mountain at 5a so he could leap off it, leaving Will to drive down alone. Lol. IYKYK.
This week on @podmeetsworldshow, Topanga arrives for episode #104, Cory’s Alternative Friends, and we had the opportunity to interview legendary director David Trainer. He was there in 1993 for the rollercoaster of a story about how I came to be Topanga and we dive into it in this episode. As promised, we discuss the good and the not so good with honesty and this is one of those occasions. While being a child actor is a LOT of fun most of the time it is also a very real job, and just like anyone who’s ever had a job knows, working with others isn’t always easy. There are struggles and extremely difficult moments filled with tears but that’s a part of life and I wouldn’t trade being Topanga for anything. ♥️
