Jasmine Curtis-Smith Instagram – Always hopeful for and with the Filipino children alongside @worldvisionphl 🧡 Glad I got to join the annual Lakbay Pag-asa, an activity where sponsors visit the WV communities and meet their sponsored child, too! This year was held in Malabon and we also spent the day learning how to make dishwashing liquid as well as touring the community run farm which grows guavas and mulberry among other fruits, lots of malunggay and array of veggies. They even have a hydroponics farm that grows lettuce! The farm produce and the dishwashing liquid that they make are also sold for their own source of income. There’s even neighbors and a local restaurant that now exclusively buys their supply from them ☺️ If you’ve been sponsoring for a while and would like to join, make sure to watch out for next year’s!
