We are back from a wonderful and memorable vacation and the best part of our trip was meeting Asheesh ji , Rupal ji and Sukratti. Little does one know the definition of kindness and selflessness till when actually its seen unravel so beautifully…Its been a memorable trip but one of gratitude.. all thanks to my dearest Anoop Bhaiya who told me that his best friends stay in DC and got me in touch with them right before we were to leave for America and from leaving from Mumbai till the entire time when we were there, they were helping me make bookings, sending me guidance from shopping and did everything I had never imagined. I can go on and on about it. But truly what really is beyond words is when Samairra and I were stuck in New York City as our flight for Buffalo got cancelled. I didn’t know what to do which is when they came to the rescue and right away booked us a bus to Washington DC, where they live. And when we reached our destination, smiling faces with waving hands were waiting for us at the bus stop at 11 in the night as if family was waiting with open arms to greet us and truly they have become family. From never having met each other to coming to our rescue at every little hurdle I faced in the trip, to taking us around Washington DC and opening up their home and hearts to us, and not to miss the delicious home cooked Indian meals , I must say I knew the definition of kindness but what it truly MEANS I saw unravel in front of my eyes during this trip. A thank you would never be enough but beyond what you did for Samairra and me, I must say we also learned that there is so much goodness still in the world and I’m glad that my child is seeing this and imbibes it for our future.
I would happily miss seeing Niagara falls all over again if that meant meeting you all.
