I don’t even know where to begin..
A film that came my way in the most unexpected way at an unexpected time, a film that tested my physical, mental and emotional endurance in a way nothing ever has, a film where I got to collaborate with some of the most talented artists, not to mention some of my favourites.
You have artistically spoilt me @ranjithpa @the_real_chiyaan & the rest of the team, and set the bar too high. Who will match this now 😭😅
It’s finally a film wrap and I’m going to wallow in existential crisis for a few days.

In in a very rainy mumbai at the moment, and reminiscing about this lovely afternoon I spent in the High Atlas hills of Morocco. There was brisk mountain air, the most orangey oranges I’ve seen & the cutest little doggo for company 🐶 As you can evidently guess, it was a good day ♥️

Every episode of Maitri is both a revelation and a reiteration that consistent conversations backed by relentless action are needed to keep chipping away at the change we all want to see and bring about.
@malavikamohanan_’s gradual discovery of the only path that makes sense for anyone seeking longevity, @aishwaryarajessh’s stepping into the shoes of the “hero”, @madhoo_rockstar’s refusal to settle for less, @aparnapurohit’s resolve to see more women on screen, #reshmaghatala @whatiswat forming their own company @liontoothsocial to enable stories they believe in and are the centre of and @yamini.yagnamurthy’s unfiltered voice and gritty spirit to compete without concessions are the tip of the iceberg.
