This is how a typical music class with my Guruji Shri Purushottam Upadhyay was. I would start singing a beautiful melody that he had composed and stop in the middle and he would correct it till I got it right. He is 85 years old today and doesn’t eat his food till he does his riyaz. I am so grateful to have learnt music from him and my other Gurujis Madhutai and Seetatai. Before I became an actor I always wanted to be a singer, but destiny clearly had other plans. Having said that, music plays a very important role in my life and is as important as breathing. Only because of the love and discipline instilled by my gurujis. #happygurupurnima 🌕
Yoga is not just about Asanas. It’s a state of mind. To be balanced, centered and calm through all that life throws at you. Might not be doing the asanas in this reel but my mind is the way it should be on #worldyogaday
