Beginning in pregnancy I really embraced this nurturing, easy pace for myself which has never really been my speed before having kids. Staying in comfort and conservation. Now, as I begin to transition out of the postpartum phase, I’m really interested in the new ways in which I push myself. Integrating these two speeds and all the ones between. Mind over matter when it’s necessary and then letting my body take the lead at other times. Push and hold. Finding out how these two are opposites but also integrated. Mama bear speed. I did one of the scariest things of my life. I had my breast implants removed! I’d be so happy to keep this story for myself as I don’t owe it to anyone. HOWEVER, last year when I was on the fence with this decision I saw @maylingng post about her removal journey and it was the straw that empowered me to take this leap.
