Although my first project DYZH was incomplete, it let me have such a wholesome experience in a very short time! It helped me grow as an actor, rekindled my relationship with dance for that period of time and enabled me to become better overall. Till date I feel so grateful for this experience and for those who trusted a newbie to give her best. Here’s what I learnt –
To Balance.
When you try to dance with your eyes closed the first thing you experience is that balancing becomes more difficult. You’ll see me stumble a couple of times while doing very basic steps for the very same reason.

To Trust.
I had to surrender myself completely to the artists dancing with me. Since my eyes were shut, I was completely at their mercy especially when I drop myself in the end. I just KNEW they wouldn’t let me fall. They made sure I could trust them by putting my safety over everything else during the act.

To Push Beyond My Limits.
Kyunki darr ke aage “jeet” ka toh pata nahi par self discovery zarur hai. Like I always say, what is the point of this journey if not to discover ourselves? To test ourselves and see what we are capable of? Ironically, the journey inwards enables us to branch out and truly live with whatever is outside of us.
