Melanie Lynskey Instagram – We have now arrived at the episode of @yellowjackets that made me burst into tears while reading it. Eek ugh argh!! No spoilers in the comments please. So many standouts this episode I don’t know how I’ll post about everyone but I’m going to try. @lerouxluciano has been so consistently wonderful and this episode is no different- his Javi is coping with unspeakable trauma and you really feel Luciano carrying the weight of that in his performance. His love for the only family member he has by his side is so deep and true! Every moment he has breaks my heart. And he’s the sweetest person ever!! What a love you are, Luciano. I’m lucky to know you! And @soapy.t – where to begin? First of all, as a person, she is so kind and caring and so authentic. It’s very lucky the show was able to get @juliettelewis to play the older version of Natalie because there are so few people in the world as electric and absolutely themselves and as deeply feeling as Sophie. Juliette is one of those people and the pairing is so magic because even though there’s truly no one like either one of them in the universe, they’ve created a character together who is made up of all those amazing things in both of them jumbled into one beautiful tortured ferocious woman. What Sophie does every episode is amazing, but this episode is beyond. I felt every single second of what she went through. I love how this show slowly peels back the layers of how these women came to be who they are today and i love love LOVE the 90s cast who are just giving their all every single time 💖💖💖
