Beyond thrilled to have had true Night Court royalty in our presence with the brilliantly talented and hilarious @marshawarfield reprising her legendary role of “Roz” in tonight’s #NightCourt season finale. The reaction from the studio audience the night we filmed it was magical. When she walked out on that set and with her iconic laser delivery served up her reply to John Larroquette’s Dan Fielding, there were audible gasps of excitement, massive applause, laughter and tears of joy. It was a truly special moment unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed.
Not only is Marsha an immensely gifted actor and stand-up, she’s one of the most wonderful humans. She has a remarkable gift in which the words she shares with you in conversation go directly into your heart where they will stay cherished forever. Cannot thank her enough for joining us and for being absolutely incredible in every way. I’m so excited for you all to get to see more of Roz’s return in our Season 2 premiere! 💙

When I was a little girl and would meet someone with the same name as me I would get SO excited, calling them “Melissa,” “Meliss…” “Mel!” every chance I got. While we run the chapter in the US, my dear friends, Oscar’s remarkable parents Yavanna and Lar Keogh, run the Oscar’s Kids Ireland chapter…and to say they are amazing is the understatement of the century. It is no wonder Oscar was as extraordinary as he was given the fact that Yav and Lar are truly two of the most outstanding humans this world has to offer. They started the Oscar’s Kids Club…a first of its kind Irish club for courageous kids with cancer and they wholeheartedly support families with fun and friendship through their entire cancer journey. They work with tireless devotion bringing joy to kids in honor of their beautiful son. I often talk about my love of TV since childhood. The fact that those beloved shows and the characters within them felt like family to me, provided such joy and comfort, in many ways shaped me as a person and ultimately my entire future. What I didn’t realize as a kid was that what was making me respond so deeply and feel so invested in these stories was the bedrock of wonderful writing behind it. I’m so grateful for each and every word I’ve been given to say by the brilliant minds behind the shows I’ve been a part of. These are some of our incredible #NightCourt writers who have poured their hearts and souls into our show.
