Natasha Khan Instagram – Introducing my brilliant choreographer and collaborator @alexandra_green__ who has been instrumental in guiding me to explore new realms of movement, and allowing my inner dancer to grace the stage. I wondered if at the age of 43 it would be possible to take the stage in a Madonna/KB mic (!) and hold my own. But working with Ally proved that as you age your body can tell even richer stories.
Since becoming a mother, my perspective on movement and expression has evolved in profound ways. The journey of motherhood has awakened a newfound connection to my primal instincts and a desire to explore movement in a raw and untamed manner. But also to use the repetitive and mundane aspects of domestic life to create consecutive moving mantras about the emotional peaks and troughs of devotional love, boredom, exaltation, survival.
