We walked into the piano shop after dinner, and I taught you something on the spot and there we have it… our first duet together, impromptu.😊
I remember placing you on the piano bench, as soon as you were able to sit upright. With every opportunity I had, I wanted to get you to fall in love with the piano.
Like a parent who puts her hopes in the next generation, I wish to see you master the beauty of playing but more importantly, to have music in your life. Being able to play the tunes that sing to your heart, no matter how simple they are can bring much comfort to the soul..
So keep working at it, Kay…Let music be one of your best friends, and have it celebrate your wins and hold you up when you fall, in the years to come.
