2022 was tough but I’m proud of my progress!
This is what a year of an RA flare up looks like. Muscle atrophy, weight loss, hair loss, adverse medical reactions, eyes swollen shut, level 10 pain, and lots of judgmental looks from others.
I used to think this was my weakest point in life but looking back it was most definitely when I showed the most strength💪🏼
So much gratitude to @chadlanders for guiding me as I eased back into working out and modifying exercises to my needs. Each time I left the gym I felt stronger and more confident, so thank you for helping me lay a new foundation 🫶🏼
And to everyone who checked on me and sent me loving messages. Can’t tell you how impactful they were when I was in some really low places.
I’m now heavier than when I started and feel like a different person. So happy my body has the weight and muscle it needs to fight for me!
2023 goal is to build more upper body strength and to continue to treat my body with the respect it deserves ❤️

7 years married! Feels like a blink! We spent the day in Mystic, CT. Went to the aquarium, grabbed lobster rolls, ate dinner, explored the shops, walked along the river, and it was perfection😍
C has been in rehearsals and shows all day and night so it was nice to have this beautiful day off together.
Mystic was so charming and adorable! We’re def going back for another date.

Every NYE I write out what I’ve learned during the past 12 months, what made me happy, what made me unhappy, what I want to do more of, less of, my successes… I write out wellness goals, work goals, life goals, and I check in on my list throughout the year.
They’re not resolutions per se, but I believe it’s important to have an honest breakdown of where I’m at. I love looking back and seeing which direction my path went down. How life shifted. How plans changed.
2022 was a year of triumph for me. Through some extremely painful months I came out on the other side. Thought patterns and old habits were rewired and I am physically a different person than I was last year. My pain level is at its lowest and I am honestly so proud of the hard work I put in to get there!
Building our home has been at the center of 2022 and has taught us so many lessons. I cannot wait to finally start hosting our epic game nights in 2023😍
Grateful to everyone who added their light into my life this past year! For the experiences and opportunities. To my unbelievable husband who is my biggest supporter and this year’s MVP. And to all of YOU who have left me the kindest words of encouragement!
2023 I hope to continue to help others, heal myself, and live in my purpose.
