Dancing with joyous abandon on the banks of the River Chandrabhaga, the devotees of Vithala have abandoned all anger and pride and are prostrating to one another.
This is Sant Tuka’s simple message of love and unity in this abhanga called Khel Mandiyela.
This beautiful choreography is by my beloved Guru Sandhya Tai during my memorable days at @bharatacollege and I had the opportunity to perform this thanks to @smitavadnerkar at @nupurarts Anartam – Nartan festival in Leicester, UK last year.

‘The Gita Show’ – a light, sound and water projection show at Jyotisar Kurukshetra by TRL Rice land @tildarice (to be honest, this video does no justice to how grand they have actually made it. The projection reflects in the water below and there’s fountains that have projection too)
Most of the opportunities that I’ve ever got have been through dance, and because of my ever-giving Guru Sandhya Tai. This was yet another beautiful avenue where she was invited to choreograph this grand spectacle, and she gave me the opportunity to work as Draupadi. It was an absolute honour to be directed by my beloved Guruji and brilliant director Atul Tiwari ji @its_the_knownsense
My father, my biggest cheerleader, planned a special trip for us earlier this year to Kurukshetra solely to watch this spectacle. And he took this video, uploaded it on youtube himself and ‘whatsapp-ed’ it to every person he knew ❤️❤️
Miraya watched it all patiently, sitting in my arms, and then said to her nani, ‘Mumma crying.. Mumma why crying..’
Beyond grateful, every single day for these pillars in my life ❤️
