Gronn Place in Brunswick West was a pretty run down old estate. The homes were more than 60 years old. They were hard to keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Frankly – they just weren’t up to scratch. So now, we’re rebuilding it – with more homes for more Victorians. We’re replacing 82 old units with 119 brand new homes. These homes will be a mixture of one, two and three bedrooms – and will be built to be accessible and energy efficient. There’ll be plenty of open, green spaces for everyone to enjoy, too. The construction team on site have been hard at work over the last few months – with all major structural work now complete. That’s a huge milestone. And it means we’re on track to have the first residents move in to these new homes next year. Every Victorian deserves a safe, secure place to live – and it’s projects like this one that are making that happen.
