Messing around in kitchen…a venn diagram of: roti canai, cinnamon bun, Austrian strudel, scallion pancake, 🇰🇷 hotteuk. Initially was trying to play around with roti canai…but ended up at Cinnabon at the food court in a South Korean shopping mall
Stretching the dough hand like the roti canai masters is not in my realm of possibilities.

Made a classic 🇰🇷 soup for my kids that my mom would make for me…kongnamul-guk a simple broth soup with bean sprouts. Had a moment of nostalgia sipping on a similar flavored broth @yangbanla. Inspired me to make a dish that tastes just like my mom’s cooking. Let’s hope my kids eat it.
