It’s always insane to me when the guys I train think that stance and motion or shadow boxing/wrestling- is some sort of warm up. I did 25 minutes of work and it was about as much as I could do, because I did it correctly! Soaking wet, legs shaking, heart rate SUPER high, and completely unable to form a sentence with how out of breath I was. *The breakdown of rounds was as follows: (on the boxing timer app) 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of break, x25 rounds – alternating WRESTLING stance&motion and shadow boxing. The “up and down” part of it makes it wayyyy tougher (and more realistic) if you’re an MMA fighter. That’s out of the @keith_trimble handbook of mma fight conditioning! (Now before you do this and then message me that it wasn’t that tough, I’ll leave you w the same words I tell the guys I train: “you can make anything hard as Fuk, and you can make anything easy”. ) Give it a try, push yourself, and comment on how it went below! I’m looking forward to hearing how you guys feel about the workout! *ps – to make it tougher, on the 10 second break, keep your hands up, move your feet and move your head.* but if you need the break, take it… it’s designed into the workout!
This morning I felt that I needed to exorcise some demons. This did the trick. *100 lb D-ball, 15 squats. *70 lb D-ball, 15 scoop n throw over shoulder. 14,14. 13,13. 12,12. Etc. down to 1,1. I took breaks as needed. I did not have a set amount of time I rested for, nor did I have a set amount of work in mind that I would finish before taking a break. I went until I couldn’t, breathed a bit, but not long enough to leave that uncomfortable place, and went back. It sucked, and I needed it.

Wrestling workout of today: -10x rounds of 3min -15-20 second brake between each 3 min round – each 3 min round broken up into: a) both shadow wrestle 1 min. B) 1 guy takedown let up C) other guy take down let up. (Alternating between who drills first each time)
