Gregor Gillespie Instagram – It’s always insane to me when the guys I train think that stance and motion or shadow boxing/wrestling- is some sort of warm up.

I did 25 minutes of work and it was about as much as I could do, because I did it correctly! Soaking wet, legs shaking, heart rate SUPER high, and completely unable to form a sentence with how out of breath I was. *The breakdown of rounds was as follows: (on the boxing timer app) 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of break, x25 rounds – alternating WRESTLING stance&motion and shadow boxing. The “up and down” part of it makes it wayyyy tougher (and more realistic) if you’re an MMA fighter. That’s out of the @keith_trimble handbook of mma fight conditioning! (Now before you do this and then message me that it wasn’t that tough, I’ll leave you w the same words I tell the guys I train: “you can make anything hard as Fuk, and you can make anything easy”. ) Give it a try, push yourself, and comment on how it went below!
