Macklemore Instagram – The face you make after you do 5 shows in 5 days, finish your last verse and know that you gave 100% of everything you had in you. Broken body and all. This is my love. The place where I attempt to channel something much bigger than my doing. Before every show, as the intro music starts I say the same prayers. First it’s the serenity prayer. Then it’s a prayer to help me to get out of my own way/head and be a conduit for whatever comes through me. Be present. Become a vessel. Find gratitude for whatever happens.
