Our day trip to Chicago for a full day of art at the Institute. My father, the art lover, informed me that he hadn’t been there since he was in high school. We got the bum’s rush and they brought out the brooms because 6 hours just wasn’t enough. Then a stop at @pequodspizza to introduce my dad to my favorite deep dish. Don’t be sore at me, Chicago buddies. I only had time for art and pizza.

This Oak sapling was a volunteer in my parents’ flower bed. My dad and I transplanted it carefully to a place with plenty of sun. I have visions of it growing nice and tall.
Whew, glad this made the transfer over to my new phone. I was worried I would never hear this thing that I never asked for again
