it’s barbie time july 21st (kens can come too)

Simu Liu Instagram - we’re going on strike soon, so this will be my last post about the barbie movie before its release. making this movie was one of the most joyous, freeing and eye-opening experiences of my life, and greta and margot are badass genius superwomen who fought tooth and nail to tell this story exactly the way it was meant to be told. you may think you know what this movie is based on the promo, but there are truly so many delicious layers that you have not yet seen. you think you’re going to watch a movie about dolls, but you’re watching a movie about what it means to be human. there is truly no way to do this movie justice with words; you’ll just have to watch it. see you july 21st!!
