Geckos were everywhere. They weren’t just in the bamboo villas but in the other airbnbs I booked too. Balinese people love and protect them. They keep food for them in their house and believe that geckos are home gods who protect them from the bad influence. You don’t need to be scared of them because they don’t do anything but yes you would meet a lot of them there!
I remember making Rohan check the washroom everyday before I went in and made him stand guard till I finish haha.

1) Carry a light travel tripod which is sturdy enough to hold your phone and DSLR both. After a lot of research I got this super lightweight aluminium travel tripod ULANZI MT-55. I keep it in my check in luggage. It’s a little expensive but totally worth it.
It comes with a separate phone attachment and can also be used as a monopod. You can carry it around with your phone on wide angle mode and take some amazing videos of yourself.
2) Get the small Bluetooth remote for your phone. You can keep your phone at one place and take pictures of yourself with it. No need to run to the phone again and again to click pictures.
3) I know some of you might feel shy but the easiest thing to do is to ask someone else to take your pictures while traveling. Either your friends or any stranger who is ready to help ❤️

These spiral silicon tighteners come in different sizes and for both gold and silver rings. This is just a temporary hack though before you find a permanent solution 😬

Had the best time with my gang at @glmpxevrstglamping. This place is between Pune and Mumbai at near Pawna lake. You can see the lake from here and there is a beautiful waterfall right behind. The tents are so comfortable and have attached washrooms.
