I broke my shoulder/upper arm exactly 3 months ago today. Based on what I was told about what to expect regarding the speed and extent of my recovery I NEVER thought I’d be posting a video like this today. It might just look like pregnant me standing at a lake lifting my arms above my head but damn it is SO much more. I mean I can barely tell watching this which shoulder is the bionic one! 🥹 At times these days, it’s easy to forget all the fear, intense pain, sleepless nights, tears and the relentless uphill struggle I endured. But those memories will always be with me. They’ve made me stronger and more ready to face adversity. multi-pitch mama!! gorgeous day out with my love on one of my favorite multi-pitch routes in the gunks. if you’re interested in climbing outside and learning more skills check out some of @arcteryxnewyork’s excellent gym to crag workshops and outdoor programming happening this week and weekend in partnership with incredible organizations like @heyflashfoxy and @riseoutsidecollective.
