Anel Alexander Instagram – So this happened 🇺🇸…aaaand then we moved back to South Africa 🇿🇦! LA, it’s been a wild ride! When we first moved to Los Angeles towards the end of 2016, I remember locals saying that it was going to take 5 years before you find your feet. And they were right. Only after 5 1/2 years I started feeling at home, like I knew my way around the city and culture and the craziness that is LA. Starting over in another country halfway across the world has been one of the hardest, but most rewarding things I’ve ever had to do. I have learnt more about myself, the world, God, relationships, work and what really matters in life than I was prepared for.
 
I am heartbroken to have had to leave my LA family behind, but I know it is not farewell, simply ‘see y’all later!’ We have met the most incredible humans who have been so extraordinarily good to us through some pretty rough times. I will never be able to thank you all enough for your kindness and generosity. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
 
People make all the difference and we’re finding ourselves in a season where we need to be closer to our family and friends in SA. I’m not sure what the future holds, but I know God has a plan and He is in control.
 
On to new adventures for the Alexanders!
