I’m very sad. I’m sad because the world has lost Paul Reubens a genius and true artist and he made the world so much better. I was introduced to him through my nephews love of PeeWee Herman. His show was whimsical and inclusive and inspired and hilarious and influenced all of my design decisions from that day forward.He made everyone laugh. I met him at Camryn Manheim’s Birthday 25 years ago and was so instantly taken with his magic. I was so happy when he was touring to sold out theaters so he could see how loved he was. I’m sharing this video from a few years ago just so you appreciate how genuinely kind he was. I am so grateful to have had him as a friend.
