Chrystee Pharris Instagram – Day 4 Part 2. I don’t know how I meet such amazing people! This moment will change the rest of my experience for the duration of my Europe trip. Saying yes & being present. If I wasn’t present I would have missed the joy in playing dress up. It is 1am in the morning & our AirBnB host @piroskaszoenye_ is starting to pull out clothes to try on. (Some she will let us keep).
See, she is an artist- she designs jewelry, furniture, paintings – you name it.
I am tired, I need to pack and normally- I would have said – I need to get some rest (train leaves at 7am) but I am choosing to play, fellowship, hang out, get to know someone new and create a memory.
She turns on the music (Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye yay!). We start trying on clothes & now we are doing a photoshoot! Sooo much fun! Just being free and creative like a child. If I’m thinking of the future or the past all the time – I will continue to miss moments like this.
She also dropped some knowledge tonight. She said, “Stop rushing. You have time. Be present. If you are rushing luck can’t catch you. It will clip the bottom of your leg and cause you to fall. So don’t rush. Enjoy the moment. When you do- the luck, the “blessing” will catch you every time.” 🙏🏽❤️
And I am taking that advice the rest of the trip. And hopefully the rest of my life.
@dalewaddington – it is going to be weird not having you with me. A little scary. Not sure why. Thank you for the time we spent together. 2 peas in a pod! God has shown out! You are truly a blessing to me.
