Chrystee Pharris Instagram – Sometimes, in the mist of a disappointment a blessing is there- you just have to be willing to believe it and recognize it when it shows up. Which means you have to be present. I’ve always wanted be that person who traveled around the world for a month. Never thought it was possible financially, nor did I have the opportunity to just leave the acting world for a month. Never wanted to miss a job or the money either. And then the strike happened. Ugh. Big disappointment. Wait, I can travel now! But is it smart?!? This strike could last 6 months.
I had a hard time pulling the trigger. But my friend Dale Waddington was in Italy and I told myself just do it! So I did. WOW! Just wow! It was magical, spiritual, and I had a breakthrough. 21 days. And guess what… I stayed with strangers in different countries in Europe! THAT I MET IN A FB GROUP the night before!! 🤣🤦🏽♀️🙏🏽❤️🙃I met the most amazing women. People I would have never met otherwise. Seeing how similar we were in experiences even though our cultures, ethnicities, nationalities, and languages were different- fascinated me. It gave me life. It gave me hope. And it renewed my faith. I’ll post my stories everyday for te next few weeks. I hope it encourages you to take a leap in whatever you want to do in life and to believe in people again. (The right people). This is Day 2.
