Elisha Applebaum Instagram – We had the most empowering and rewarding day hosting a Confidence & Self-Empowerment Retreat for the amazing ambassadors of @thegirlsnetwork held at the magical London-based venue @missionworks.uk We started the day with a welcome circle to set our intentions for the day, followed by a confidence-building workshop led by Moon to provide the girls with tools and techniques to help them step into their power. At the end of this session, the girls each chose their own Power Pose, which they can embody whenever they need an extra boost of confidence. After a lunch and delicious dessert break fuelled by @theafterschoolcookieclub Elisha hosted an acting workshop to help the girls step out of their comfort zones and practice more self-love. The girls worked on overcoming limiting beliefs ended the session by writing a self-empowerment piece about themselves which they then recited in front of the group. The day wound down with a circle of compliments where each girl took a turn to give and receive compliments. We ended our sharing circle with the girls sharing what they learned about themselves.
