@eigerultratrail Thank you for putting these beautiful races together! I’m so thankful to be able to run in this place- and what a run it was!

With my own race I can only say that I’m very disappointed. I couldn’t run due to overheating feeling. Constantly stopped putting my head in rivers but the temperature didn’t decrease. I was jogging but the system worked 💯.
But! Everything have two or more sides, and despite a bad feeling, I was happy to experience this race, and to meet so many along the corse. Bravo a tous!
Another positive thing is that my legs are fresh and ready to train for CCC 😆
Also very happy to know that heat is really my weakness. We have been doing different tests with @nnormal_official and what I can improve most is with heat training!

Eiger 51 you took me by storm!
Longest race so far, 53 km, almost 6 h of running. One long big climb a beautiful stretch along ridges a long downhill, and a 7 km flat ish to the finishline. All surrounded by majestic mountains. ❤️
I hoped to make a gap on the uphill, wich I could! Then the downhill I might have been going a little to easy ( legs are ok 😂) as I feared the flat end stretch.
Congrats @elseydavis 🥈 @thevenotannececile 🥉 I was sure you both would catch me on the flat road 😅💨!

When Ylva-Li, 2 yo gets to follow on a run, she is so happy! Every day she want to go for at least a walk and her nap she prefers there too 🥰!
I still really enjoy bringing the girls on a run, even though nowadays flat is better than uphill. This is @thule glide 2!

Leaving for @eigerultratrail 51 km tomorrow! Got some good weeks of training and really looking forward to run in the area of Eiger.
I hope to qualify for CCC, the 100 km race from Courmeyer to Chamonix. An ultra distance I have not raced since 2018, and a lot has happend since then.
I LOVE being able to run long distances, to explore the mind, body aswell as the surroundings.
I’m intrigued by the longer distances as it feels like a huge challenge.
Before pregnancies I ran ultras every now and then and loved it.
Now I feel like a totally newbie. And that’s fun! And challenging.

Fueling 🍫 during a race, how to get enough energy?
I make a plan for what to consume during a race, then underway I adapt or change if I feel I need to.
For Eiger wich was 6 hours I managed around 70 g carbs/ hour and for this race it was ok. Here it was more important to not get to warm, to drink enough water and sportsdrink. I was drinking @moonvalley.me apple and black currant sportsdrink aswell as water. And eating gels and also a moonvalley 🍫
I often train with energy so the body get use to it too.

I have been feeling quite ok after last weekends race but still resting and just going on feeling. I track my HRV with my @corosglobal apex 2 pro and that has showed I’m recovering well. I knew I probably wasn’t gonna do my best time, but it’s a good start for the next training block before @sierrezinal_officiel ! 💨

I run so I can run tomorrow is something I have been ( at least trying!) living since the day I realised running is something I truly love. I want to take care of it. Feel the joy, the excitment for a new area to explore by foot, the curiousity how the interval session will feel like and the freedom it gives to travel places by your own feet.
