1️⃣ Go in off season, Goa is less crowded , cheaper and still you will find lots of parties to go to.
2️⃣ Rent a Scooty or a Car, rentals start from as low as ₹500 per day
3️⃣ Book tickets and hotels in off season even if you want to visit during peak season
4️⃣ Choose an older version of car/scooty because for 2-3 days it will work fine and you will be paying less
5️⃣ If you are staying in South Goa, there is a direct bus to the airport which will take around ₹20-50 to reach. Otherwise with cab it will take min ₹500
6️⃣ Do not take already built in packages provided by travel agents. Instead make your own and do research beforehand
7️⃣ Go to the Casino to enjoy the experience and not to earn money. Do not go to big casinos like Bid Daddy, prefer the cheaper ones like Majestic Royal (newly made).. enjoy the buffet and the entry fee is refunded in form or ₹500 coupons
8️⃣ Eat at local cafes instead of popular big chains like dominos etc
9️⃣ Lots of airlines like Vistara and Indigo provide discounted rates on cabs to the airport if you use the boarding pass or if you are a member of thr airlines or if you have their credit card. USE THEM!
👉🏻 All in all Goa can be extremely cheap or extremely expensive it depends on how you spend money and what lifestyle you have ✅
In any case do not overspend by using credit cards everywhere (its easier to spend from plastic than actual cash) and don’t forget the drinks bill (it piles up, trust me! 😅)
❌ My trip was based in South Goa. Try booking airbnbs jnstead of hotels, Lalit Resorts was 2/5 because it was too far from the main city and food was average.
