🔸 Govt. Banned 138 Chinese Betting Apps in Feb this year
🔸 Several of them are still operational and are active under different domain names
🔸 Every celebrity, influencer and prominent personalities are getting brand promotion offers from these apps. Even I got one and ofcourse I always reject it
🔸 In April, Govt’s new rules completely banned Betting in India which includes no advertisements on social media and newspapers
🔸 And their advertising is not hidden or indirect… its highly aggressive on your face ads, still govt is doing nothing
🔸 Once they are blocked, they immediately start mirror websites. For example, if betway.com is banned, they start bdbetway.com, a new domain within 24 hours which is how they are able to operate even after the ban.
💀 Its the same way porn is still active even though it’s completely banned
☑️ If they are finding loopholes to survive, why can’t we completely cancel them ourselves? It is our duty as well as citizens to avoid registrations and complain to MIB in case you find ads of such apps
