Our jobs and our travels have taken us to tea shops all over the world. I tend to think they are all kind of magical. And if you know anything about me, you know that my day runs on various kinds of tea.
My recently discovered favorite tea shop has to be @mymisstea
Never thought I would find a tea shop in the States with such beautifully curated blends. There is real artistry at work by Mor and her colleagues here.
We are both hooked! And drinking flavors I never thought I would end up liking!!! If you are part of the crowds visiting Beacon this Memorial Day weekend, don’t miss stopping in!

There is a spankin’ new gorgeous studio in the middle of Clear Lake, Iowa. And it was my great luck to be amongst an incredible group of filmmakers to check it out this week.
My spirit is full and hope renewed for those of us who dream the impossible dreams thanks to @renovomediagroup @either_or_films @pykecory Eric, Kristen, and the lovely David for sharing the beauty of what you have built with us. So excited to see what incredible stories @renovomediagroup tells there.

These two pix have a special spot in every home I live in. My Poppa Stowers with his battalion in WW2 in France. He drove between front line encampments and fixed tanks. (Back row left side)
But what he took away from the war were the men he served with. I loved when I could get him to talk about them. He rode a train from TN to California for Basic training. And served with a lot of Mexican men who had the courage to join the US army knowing they would be deployed. He respected the work ethic, temperament, and love of life these brave immigrant men had. These qualities aligned with his upbringing. I keep these pix in my home to remind me of our Vets. Their honor and dedication and sacrifice. And to remember that my sweet Poppa, who showed me love and positive masculinity rather than toxic, went through something horrific and eventually came out the other side with his soul and compassion in tact.
Thx Poppa. You handsome, beautiful soul. I miss you on this Earth.
