I never know what to say here but I just want to share how good I feel. I’m going through some much needed changes and damn I love how I feel. It’s nice to finally see myself put in the work to be better, to go after what I want. I’ve been stuck for a long time. Doing life the same way but wanting something different. All I can say is if you’ve been like me, really wanting more from yourself and life, it just takes one step in another direction. One change. A tribute to all the years I’ve been lucky enough to entertain you as Dr.Britt Westbourne and lucky enough to work with such wonderful and kind people. Being on this show, being in your living rooms everyday, is an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you for all of the amazing support over the years. I’m absolutely shocked regarding the news of Nneka passing away. Devastated. If General Hospital was a house, Nneka was the walls that kept the house standing. She was everything to our show and to everyone that worked there. I used to joke that I didn’t know how she managed it all because she was so involved with everything behind the scenes. This photo was from my last week on the show. I went upstairs to her office to give her a card and say thank you for all the ways she helped me during my time there. We talked about long distance relationships and how her boyfriend had just moved to LA. I was so happy for her. We said this isn’t goodbye and we’d talk around Emmy time. I thought for sure I’d see her again. I considered her a friend and cherished our years working together. My heart breaks for her family, for Frank Valentini and everyone at GH. Rest in Peace Nneka. 🕊️💔

It was very meaningful for me to be there and to see the support this organization and the people involved have towards not only finding a cure for HD, but supporting the families that are impacted by this disease. As most of you know, my character on @generalhospitalabc has Huntington’s disease. I never knew about this disease until I was given this storyline and I hold it very tightly to my heart. Landscapes part 1: Milos, Greece. In my early 20’s I lived in Athens trying to make it as a model. I dreamed of going to the Greek Islands but was way too broke to even eat, so it never happened.
