I found some old headshots the other day. These were taken right around the time I got my SAG card. 1998, I think? This business was so tough when I started out. It’s only gotten harder. I’m in a fortunate position right now and I know how lucky I am. So many actors I love and admire have been unable to make a living, to keep their health insurance. We need to make sure every member is protected. I am a proud member of @sagaftra and I am in this fight with you all and standing with the WGA.

This eleven year old photo is still one of my most loved pictures of me and my sister Millie. Happy birthday, FP. I have loved you since the moment you were born (yes I was there) and I just love you more and more every day. I am so proud of you, you are the strongest, kindest person, the best advice-giver, so enormously helpful (Assister!) and so very fun. You are so wonderful with all the kids, which is why you are Smoosh’s second favourite family member, after Ellie of course, which honestly we can’t argue with. I can’t wait for so many more years of silently communicating, laughing at things nobody understands (highlighter story!), and having the kind of sitting on the couch visits with each other that confuse customs officials when they ask what we did with our holiday.
