So…. It been a while since I’ve done something daft to raise money for Safe and Sound, but I’m back at it!
🔥THIS THURSDAY I will be taking part in Safe and Sound’s FIRE WALK 🔥
After Three Girls came out in 2017, I discovered Safe and Sound, a local Child Sexual Exploitation charity who are doing really important work through awareness, support, prevention and recovery for young people and their families.
In 2017 I took part in their festive fool challenge and raised £2,670 !
In 2020 I abseiled off Millers Dale bridge in Derbyshire and raised £3,217 !
Then covid hit. Before 2020, Safe and Sound would support an average of 100 children.
In 2022 they helped 343 children & young people and 40 families. The demand has increased significantly.
Any young person is at risk of being exploited. Abusers do not discriminate based on ethnicity, social background or where they live.
