Narration before a performance is not only to convey the essence of our performance but also to understand the vibe of your audience .. ( my narrations are generally in malayalam , bt this particular show was in coimbatore , they had mainly tamil@speaking audience , so opted English )

പ്രിയമുളളവരേ…
ഈ ഓണക്കാലം മനസില് സന്തോഷം കൊണ്ട് പൂക്കളമിടുകയാണ്. ഏറെ നാളുകള്ക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു അനുഭവം.
ഒരു കാലത്ത് എല്ലാ ആഘോഷവേളകളിലും എന്റെ സിനിമകള് തീയറ്ററുകളില് എത്തിയിരുന്നു. വിവാഹിതയായ ശേഷം അഭിനയരംഗത്ത് നിന്നും മാറി നിന്നു. എന്നാല് മടങ്ങിവരവ് ഒട്ടും എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നില്ല. ധാരാളം അവസരങ്ങള് തേടി വന്നെങ്കിലും ആവേശമുണര്ത്തുന്ന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള് ലഭിച്ചില്ല. രണ്ടാംവരവ് എന്ന സ്വപ്നത്തെ പലരും തമാശയായി കണ്ടപ്പോഴും എന്റെ കഠിനാദ്ധ്വാനത്തില് എനിക്ക് വിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഈ ഉദ്യമത്തില് ഒപ്പം നിന്ന എല്ലാ മലയാളികള്ക്കും ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ് ഭാഷയില് നന്ദി അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
ഒരുത്തിയും ജാനകീ ജാനേയും സൂപ്പര്സ്റ്റാര് സിനിമകള് ആയിരുന്നില്ല. അതിലുപരി നായികാ കേന്ദ്രീകൃതമായിരുന്നു. അത്തരം സിനിമകള്ക്ക് പണം മുടക്കാന് ആളുകള് വിമുഖത കാട്ടുന്ന കാലത്ത് എന്നെ വിശ്വസിച്ച് കൂടെ നിന്ന നിര്മ്മാതാക്കളായ നാസര് ഇക്കയ്ക്കും (benzy productions ) എസ് ക്യൂബ് ഫിലിംസിനും ഒരുപാട് നന്ദി.
റിലീസിന് മുന്പ് തന്നെ സാറ്റലൈറ്റ് അവകാശം വാങ്ങാന് സന്നദ്ധരായ മനോരമയ്ക്കും (ഒരുത്തി) ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റിനും (ജാനകീ ജാനേ) എങ്ങനെ നന്ദി പറയണമെന്ന് അറിയില്ല.
റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത ഘട്ടത്തില് ഈ സിനിമകളെ ഹാര്ദ്ദവമായി സ്വീകരിച്ച പ്രേക്ഷകരോടും മറ്റ് അഭ്യുദയകാംക്ഷികളോടും ഞാന് ഏറെ കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഈ തിരുവോണ നാളില് ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റിലൂടെ ജാനകീജാനേ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിലെത്തുകയാണ്. ഓണം ജാനകിക്കൊപ്പം ആഘോഷിക്കാന് ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് അവസരം ഒരുക്കുമ്പോള് അത് നിങ്ങളെപോലെ തന്നെ എനിക്ക് കൂടി ലഭിച്ച ഓണസമ്മാനമായി കാണുന്നു.
