This isn’t a typical post, I apologize about that. I wanted to post this to show how ignorant people can be. At the pride parade, protesters were telling us to k*ll ourselves, amongst other terrible things. This picture is of me showing my top surgery scars in front of these “protestors”. What these people fail to understand is the impact that gender affirming care can have. I was/am incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive family. My mom, @pinartoprakcomposer, helped me achieve my dreams. Without her and her support, I wouldn’t be here. So to all the parents and people in general, listen to others. Especially parents. Listen to your kids. Help them grow to be happy in their body. Give them a chance to be free. Being trans isn’t a choice. It’s who we are.
