I cannot get over this photo 🤩 I feel like I live a double life cos only if you could see me right now, hot and sweaty on the tube, wearing a t-shirt that slightly needs a wash but can get away. If only I could look this glamorous every day 😂

This evening was a real pinch-me moment because a photo of me is displayed at The National Portrait Gallery in the ‘History Makers Now’ selection. A 16-year-old me studying Art and visiting all these galleries would not believe my face would one day be on the gallery wall. I admit, I did tear up thinking how far I have come. It is a special moment tonight. ✨
Thank you @nationalportraitgallery for choosing me. I am deeply honoured and very moved.

A little moment that happened on the show is probably the most cringiest thing I ever done… 👀 But I had THE best time and laughed so much on The Lateish Show with @mothecomedian.
Tune in this Friday, 10pm on Channel 4 or stream on All4. @thelateishshowc4 #thelateishshow

Tonight on BBC One at 9pm ‘Signs For Change’
We have spent a year making this documentary and now it is out in the open for everyone to see. It is surely the most personal project I have worked on. I wanted to be open so it can hopefully change things for the better. Reassuring many families that they are not alone in this. Spreading awareness that is so long overdue, rather than repeating ourselves for many years to come.
Biggest thanks to @roganproductionldn and @bbc for being just as passionate and standing by my side to get this visual to happen.
I hope you all will be moved by this as much as I am passionate about it. ❤️

Honoured to be in the same room as these young talented actors. Rosie Sheehy, Phoebe Horn, Daniel Rock, Claire Wetherall, Eben Figueiredo, Conor Glean, Rilwan Abiola Owokoniran, Benjamin Wilson, Chanel Waddock, Rosy McEwen, and William Robinson.
It’s always lovely to be seen and noticed for your work and even better, I am not the only deaf person in the room. 🎉🎉 Onward and upward @bambiweth95

It has been over a month since ‘Signs for Change’ was released on the telly. The responses and the messages that I have received have been overwhelmingly positive. I still receive it every day. I promise I have read your comment as much as I can. It was beautiful to read all the comments on how many could relate, how many felt seen and how important it is. It is incredible to see the conversation starting around the different challenges, especially for families with deaf children having to pay to learn BSL. I want to say thank you. We still have a long way to go. We have watched the signs, and I hope the change will happen. My work isn’t done.
Special thanks to the fantastic team who worked tirelessly around the clock to get this documentary made and the loveliest guests that we had who bravely shared their honest, authentic selves. Here are some of the behind-the-scenes photos showing how I couldn’t have done this without them. ❤️
