Sameera Reddy Instagram – 5 things to do in Amsterdam with Kids💁🏻‍♀️ 1. Canal Cruise (group guided) on the city architecture & Dutch history is a must ! 2. Don’t miss the tram rides (kids love it ) & visit science museum , Ripleys Believe it or Not , Anne Frank House Museum & the Upside down house in the main city ! 3. Keukenhof tulip garden is open for a few months in Spring every year and is so worth seeing 😍! 4. Madurodam located at The Hague, is a miniature park & features miniature 1:25 scale model replicas of the most famous Dutch castles, industrial projects and public buildings. This was the highlight of the trip and is super fascinating for the kids ! 5. Efteling Amusement Park – an hour away from the city it’s supposed to be super fun. Tho we couldn’t go I’ve heard fab things about it ! 📍Amsterdam’s name derives from ‘Amstelredamme’ indicative of the city’s origin as a dam of the river Amstel. Amsterdam is known for its beautiful canals, quirky architecture, and lively nightlife. It’s also a great place to find Dutch art and culture, and the city has a rich history that dates back to the 13th century! I couldn’t see the Van Gogh museum but I really would have loved to ! It’s nice to expose kids to art and unfortunately we ran short of time on this trip !
