Sayani Gupta Instagram – Meet Audrey & Murray. Both 97. We met them on the Sunset cruise at Hayman. We noticed them &@smritikiran expressed how cute they were. As the 🛥️ took off I couldn’t help go say hi. And the rest is History. So A&M went to school together since they were 4..when he would carry her books for her. They were friends.. (I asked if Murray had a crush on Audrey to which she quickly quipped & said Oh YES!) she knew he liked her and of course there was an understanding. After school and beginning of collage Murray had to go for the War(WWll), he was in the navy. While he was away.. Audrey got married to another man. He came back after the war and married someone else too. They both had children with their respective partners. But kept in touch.Later they both lost their partners. One day Audrey was coming out of her house and a bike came and stood in front of her. On it was a man with 🪖& 🕶️ . She couldn’t see his face & told him why he would stop in front of her this way. As he took out his helmet, he said.. ‘Audrey, you don’t recognise me? It’s Murray!’ She couldn’t believe her eyes. They rekindled their friendship. And sometime later Murray moved in with her. They started dating 6 years ago and got married one and half years ago. Now they live in her house (not his mansion) &travel together. While Murray struggles to remember things (Audrey is sharp), She struggles to walk (Murray wheels her around). It’s the perfect Companionship. I told her how fitting her name was.. Audrey (like Hepburn)! She said ‘You have beautiful hair’. To which Murray added.. ‘Oh Darling! Just the hair! I am sitting here wondering how many marriage proposals she would get in a day!’ Audrey and I slightly choked!😂 As we spoke about other worldly things like kids & disappointments & ailments & coral reefs.. Audrey asked me if I were married & had children.. I told her I wasn’t. So she held both my hands and said.. ‘here’s to finding Mr.Right!’ (Now from their story Mr.R may come when I am 90.. who knows). But as the Sun went down & I had made new friends.. I was reminded of how unexpectedly beautiful life turns out if you let it perhaps! A&M is now, my fav love story. 🤍🤍
