I am shocked to see photos of how close the boats are to the whale, and how many boats surrounded the poor whale. It is not surprising that the propellers cut into the whales back, and very likely the bottom of some boats have hit the whale causing it injuries from impact. Today, while free diving, dozens of dolphins came by to greet us, and I feel so grateful, because they always find me in the ocean, and It is always up to them if they want to interact with us.
