French knots can be tricky. The trick is to push all wraps close to the fabric after your needle hits the fabric, before pulling taught. It’s really important to me that my business be a source of self-care and creative inspiration, and not yet another thing that makes people feel like they’re not doing enough. YarnYAY! boxes aren’t about when or even if you get the respective projects done. They’re about supporting small businesses while bringing you cool, beautiful items with the intent of putting a smile on your face. If you love finishing projects every month, then awesome! If you just enjoy any part of the process of knitting or crocheting our patterns, then wonderful! If just simply receiving, opening, and gazing at the yarns and goodies is great for you, then it’s great for us! You do you, at your own pace. This is not a race. NEW PATTERN/KIT 🚨 (link in @vickiehowell bio) Meet your new favorite, summer knit top, the Cropper Tee! One day, I got the idea to try on the Cropper cardi backward, to see how it would look as the cropped tee shape I’ve been loving, lately. Lo and behold, it looked great, so we decided to rework the pattern to create a new garment, the Cropper Tee. Don’t let the name fool you, though. If cropped isn’t your thing, it’s easy to add length by simply continuing in pattern stitch for as long as you’d like! This piece is knit in two pieces and seamed at the sides and is inclusively sized with nine fit options.
