It is disappointing to find actors who have more fan following among children continue to influence them into smoking.
What’s difference between cigarette companies like #ITC who kill their consumers & these stars who introduce them to cigars that would eventually kill them?
It isn’t about smoking on screen! It is about how it is being shown.
Movies are definitely a reflection of our society. Rape happens. Murders happen.
Consuming drugs? definitely happens.
Showing it in movies is absolutely fine but the protogonist acting cool about it? That’s where the problem lies.
If dialogues on farmers’ plight are believed to send a message, what message do these smoking scenes send?
Even if it is all a part of political agenda, don’t we need better leaders? Leaders who inspire and not conspire?
