We said goodbye to this sweet, idiosyncratic, joyful old man today. Cody would have turned 17 in November. I only knew him for 7 1/2 of those years, but he was @teerakeni ‘s faithful companion since he was a puppy. It’s inevitable that we pet parents will face these goodbyes, but it is never easy. We are grateful for his irrepressible spirit and we will miss him. RIP Cody.

I’m honored to have served on the National and NY Local Boards of SAG-AFTRA for the past two years. Little did I know when I began my service, we would be headed to a historic strike, joining our siblings in @wgaeast & @wgawest as we all fight for the future of our collective survival in the industry we have dedicated our lives and hearts and souls to. We are at a true inflection point in our industry, and we need as much leverage as possible going into our upcoming TV/Theatrical contract negotiations. The AMPTP proved they were not serious about reaching across the table in their negotiations with the @wgaeast & @wgawest, & if they prove to be as unserious with @sagaftra, we have to be armed with the ability to strike if necessary. So to all of my fellow members, please vote YES to authorize a strike. We have unprecedented unity in the National Board, our members far and wide have stood in solidarity with the WGA during their strike, & there is a national groundswell of support in all corners for organized labor. The time is now to create real and lasting change. Vote YES.
