Race 1 complete! Not the result I wanted. Had a really bad start because I opted not to use the launch control system as it is very complicated and I did not have time to practice enough with it. So I got jumped by a couple cars at the start. A full course yellow that lasted half the race meant I couldn’t chase my way back so was only able to move up one position. Tomorrow’s race will require a bit more aggression from the get go. My Dong Feng Honda teammates Martin Xie and Jack Youg however kicked some major ass with a 1 2 finish. It should say don’t fall FOR these scammers. Some of you may like the idea of me asking for something from you but let’s be real here, I would never do that. I would never ask for money. In fact, other than a bank loan, I have never borrowed money from anyone in my life. If I ask for a donation, it will be public and to a vetted legitimate charity that you can get a tax credit for. I barely use romantic words in real life so I would never use words like that to someone I don’t know personally. These scammers are ruthless. Other than this IG account and my Twitter account, I do not have any other accounts on any other platform. So do not follow those accounts and do not engage with anyone claiming to be me or representing me. Just be smart.

Wow what an experience! 2 races in the China Touring Car Championship. Race 2 did not go well for our Dong Feng Honda team. @martin_xxz and I both had problems with our launch control systems that had us both chasing back lost positions. Martin got hit in the side which set him far back in the AM zone. @jackyoung_62 vying for a 3rd place position, got knocked off the track ending up in 9th. The bad start put me in last but I was able to battle back 6 spots to 23rd but not without inflicting some damage on the second to last lap. Sorry to #37 for the love tap! That was probably the most aggressive race I have ever driven thus far. When I started this racing journey just 3 years ago, I never dreamed I would have the opportunity to race for a factory team. Of course I wish I could have done better but what’s important is I learned so much in a very short time. Dong Feng Honda, the Macpro support team, the @jas.motorsport engineers and drivers Martin and Jack all made the biggest effort to make me feel welcome and part of the family.
