TWO WEEK NATURAL SHRED
Posted the pic on the left 2 weeks ago talking about how I was going to shred down using a high carb diet. Picture on the right is today after a 30 minute 194f/90c sauna session.
During those 2 weeks I was doing high volume training 5x a week, fasted cardio and HIIT twice a week. No cutting agents, no steroids, no fat burners etc were involved in this shred. Just good old fashion hard work and knowledge.
Lost some muscle along the way but it’s to be expected when trying to shred quickly as a natty. The before and after pics speak for themself.
CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY
Contrary to popular belief carbohydrates are actually your friend. Don’t be afraid to have some carbs after an intense workout or even before the workout if you are low on energy.
Currently I am dieting on 50% carbs, 35% protein and 15% fat. Calories are at 2,600 per day. Energy levels are feeling great and my workouts are better than ever.
Keep the carbs high while in a calorie deficit and continue to enjoy your workouts and daily life; all whilst losing body fat.

Quad Extension: 5 x 50, 25, 15, 10, 8
Leg Press: 5 x 8-10
Hack Squats: 4 x 10-12
Superset: Adductions & Abductions Machine: 3 x 15
Barbell Lunges: 3 x 10
Lying Hamstring Curls: 4 x 8
Standing Hamstring Curls: 4 x 10
Stiff Legged Deadlifts: 3 x 6-8
Seated Calf Raises: 4 x 8-10
Donkey Calf Raises: 4 x 8-10
My focus was to do a static hold at each contraction with a slow negative. Tbh I’m going a little too fast in this video of me doing the quad extensions, granted it was a huuge pump. Focus on that mind muscle connection and try to finish at failure. @vqfit
